“I paint what I feel and see, the idea of getting inspired to create something unique is like my soul’s gift for the canvas in front of me”
I am a young artist whose art covers impressionism, abstract expressionism, and expressionism. I paint when I see the right canvas and that is what makes me feel at peace. In my room listening to my surroundings without a single thought in my head as I let my body take control of the paintbrush until my mind finds a pattern to follow. I need my art to be full of the same texture, messy yet clean all till the very end. As the child within me who has begun with a messy background; colours splashed everywhere then wait till the paint dries ever so impatiently. Only for that main character to stand lonely once again in a form that is to be layered by the many chosen shades. Looking at deep tones of the colour wheel shown with compassion for its distant cousins is my way of saying ‘I found you’. So I mix with and/or both black and white only to create a common balance between all.
I want when people see my work in real life to feel something. Be able to tell a short story through their eyes. To be drawn into one and have an emotion that can be anything they desire. As I’d like to see something that I have not seen before. I do believe that there is always something mystical behind every painting when a person expresses their opinion. And that is what makes me intrigued to find more of.
